If you are looking for a moving company you can seriously stop looking.

I had the most incredible experience with Moving Dotcom. We could only book them on the 22nd of December (book in advance if you need a specific date) and we only had to be out closer to the end of the month. In our minds they were only going to move the "big stuff", like our beds, dishwasher, washing machine, chairs and bookcase. The rest (when we made the booking) still needed to be packed in boxes. So I had boxes and bubblewrap laying around. We sent through the inventory and the day before, I asked my fiancé if he knows whether they might take a few boxes extra... he said I should just ask.

On moving the day, I was in constant conversation with Paula and greeted by Tas with the most friendly team. These men looked happy to move my flat. With asking if I could add a few boxes the response was of course.

In fact I wasn't ready. The team came and swept the flat in the most orderly, optimistic fashion. Before I knew it, they asked me if they can use my boxes and they started packing everything they could safely secure in a box with wrapping.

I very shyly took my plates from the cupboard and asked if they could pack this too. Within 10min my plates were securely wrapped and packed. What I found the most  pleasant were how happy the team was. They were smiling and some were singing and they just created the sweetest, happiest environment that made my moving day enjoyable.

The process took about an hour. And my appliances weren't making it easy. When the washing machine had to be disconnected, the water didn't stop flowing. Tas found an immediate solution and the water was mopped for me. At the end Tas even prompted if I had anything else I wanted to move. I was never made to feel guilty or unreasonable for anything I asked.

We moved from Hout Bay to Pringle Bay recently.Tasso and his incredible staff went out of their way to ensure the move went smoothly and timeously. We cannot praise Moving Dotcom enough for the professional service they extended to us. Friendly staff, a super hardworking team, great extras such as wrapping of furniture and fragile items and above all, nothing was too much effort even when we dithered about where to place our possessions in the new house! Paula was unbelievably helpful in coordinating our move and assisting with any queries and admin. A wonderful experience from beginning to end!
Taz and his team were super efficient and made our move easy and stress-free. They handled everything from heavy lifting and packing to chaotic traffic and negotiating tricky, tight spaces...all this, while smiling with an awesome energy and can-do attitude.

Paula was always helpful and friendly, her prompt communication and willingness to find ways to accommodate our needs made this one of the best "moves" we've ever experienced.

We will definitely use MOVING DOTCOM again and HIGHLY  RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for  a competent, seamless and efficient experience!
